Part of The Last Word, a festival where words come alive.
Roundhouse Poetry Slam 2018 winner Rakaya Esime Fetuga presents a theatrical exploration of one girl growing up black and Muslim in London.
Through poetry she explores her heritage and identity as she attempts her cultural rite of passage: learning to cainrow hair.
But from the straight hair of her styling doll to the cupboard prayer space at school, she questions what it means to grow up in spaces not designed for her.
