SouSou
Unspoken – EP Release
SouSou is South-East London based singer. Born in France with Palestinian heritage, she infuses the London music scene with an enchanting fusion of Arabic tradition and contemporary soul. Drawing inspiration from artists like Fairuz, Yebba and the poignant storytelling of French chanson, SouSou melds these influences into a uniquely personal yet universally compelling sound.
Unspoken grew out an environment where revisiting the past could reopen old wounds, and where words, once said could be misread or turned against you. The EP is an attempt to give voice to what had previously stayed quiet. It traces a personal journey through grief, memory and identity, the messy path of lived experience: loss, unravelling and slowly reclaiming.
For this speccial launch event, each song becomes it’s own physical sensory world with the performance happening in and around the audience, creating an immersive experience moving from silence toward voice
