Ever wondered how sound shapes the films you love?
Join us for an evening exploring sound in film —the often unseen craft that plays a crucial role in storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional impact.
This panel brings together professionals from across the sound department to explore how sound teams collaborate throughout the filmmaking process, from the earliest stages of production through to the final mix. You’ll gain insight into how audio supports storytelling, enhances audience immersion, and helps bring creative visions to life.
We’ll hear from industry professionals working across different areas of film sound as they share their experiences, creative approaches, and the realities of working in the industry. Following the panel discussion, there will be an opportunity to take part in audience Q&A and connect with fellow filmmakers, creatives, and film enthusiasts.
All levels are welcome. Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker, an emerging sound practitioner, a student, or simply passionate about film, come along to learn, discuss, and connect with professionals working across the industry.
