Curated by writer and poet Amina Jama, Somalinimo is an immersive installation which recreates a typical British-Somali living room, transporting and inviting visitors to explore the experiences of Somali families settling in the U.K.

Alongside the installation audiences will get the chance to experience the debut international exhibition of award winning Canadian-Somali photographer Yasin Osman’s tribute exhibition to his grandmother, Dear Ayeeyo.

This event is running as part of a larger programme of work Somalinimo (till I dhimo)
celebrating Somali culture.
