In November 2024 Centre 59 launched a new young theatre company for ages 18-25. Now in it’s second year, Centre 59 is a place for young people to learn the fundamentals of storytelling and work with their peers to devise a new theatre production. This year, the production …before I wake will be performed live at the Roundhouse in April 2026, as part of Roundhouse Three Sixty Festival.
The programme gives young people an insight into what it’s like to create and perform in a professional setting. Performing pieces devised entirely by its members, …before I wake was a celebration of the voices of emerging young talent.
Applications for the company are currently closed. Tickets are on sale for the 2026 Company’s show.
