My Name is a Two-Person Sport with Aditya Narayan

2025 Roundhouse Poetry Slam winner Aditya Narayan returns to preview his debut pamphlet, weaving English, Hindi, and Urdu into a powerful exploration of love, grief, and cross-cultural identity.

Aditya Narayan, the 2025 Roundhouse Poetry Slam winner, returns to the Roundhouse to preview his pamphlet provisionally titled My Name is a Two-Person Sport for Three Sixty Festival and an evening celebrating the power of performance poetry and spoken word.

The event will be a sharing of the poetry found in the pamphlet, a first look at the work of the Slam winner a year on from winning the competition. Narayan is one of the most exciting voices emerging in poetry today with his poems not only rhyming English, Hindi, and Urdu but also navigating complex emotions surrounding loss, focusing on how love and grief coexist and shape a person’s life.

Followed his Slam win by also winning the Loud Poets Grand Slam final last August. Having grown up across several cities in India before leaping into Scotland, Aditya often writes from a space between cultures, languages, and identities, trying to prove that the fault line can be stronger than the ground. He hopes his words find a home in you no matter where you are.
