Three Sixty Festival
Boy Blue’s internationally acclaimed hip hop masterpiece arrives at the Roundhouse, reworked for our stage with a live seven-piece band
There isn’t another show like Cycles. Boy Blue‘s latest production is movement at its most fluid, distilled and skilled. Resolute and joyful, it’s a tenacious exploration of hip hop dance in all its forms.
We’re thrilled to give you the chance to experience all this at the Roundhouse as part of Three Sixty festival. The show has wowed audiences internationally with its raw energy and triumphant, joyful celebration of hip-hop culture and dance. It’s been described by The Guardian as ‘dazzling hip-hop dance alchemy’ and ‘a triumphant celebration of the shared pleasures of dance’ by The Independent.
Reworked for the Roundhouse’s unique 270-degree stage, Cycles honours our deep connection to live music by featuring a dynamic seven-piece band that will drive the rhythm forward.
The Sunday performance will also feature the premier of Project rEVOLUTION — an epic dance theatre production created by a new Young Dance Company in collaboration with artists from Boy Blue and the Roundhouse, featuring young people from the Roundhouse’s Music Production Drop In and Poetry Collective.
Boy Blue’s Cycles is presented by Roundhouse Three Sixty in association with Barbican, London. The original 2024 production of Cycles was commissioned by Barbican, London and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
