Who is leading the session?

This session is led by Millie Wood-Downie and Molly McGeachin, the multi-award-winning creative producers behind The Project People. With a combined 19 years of industry experience, they provide flexible and affordable producing support for artists and creative organisations.

The Project People are fierce advocates for independent creative freelancers. Fusing their experience producing everything from theatre, cabaret, and festivals to large-scale events, they have developed a unique method championing long-term strategy and non-tokenistic wellbeing. As former self-producing artists who continue to create their own work, they understand the producer’s journey from the inside out.

Their acclaimed past work includes HIGH STEAKS (New Diorama, Bristol Old Vic, Edinburgh Fringe), GISELLE:REMIX (Pleasance Theatre), and Fool’s Moon Cabaret (Soho Theatre, The Wardrobe).
