Join Dan Tsu – creative director, event producer, and head of Glastonbury Festival’s Rum Shack – for a crash course in live events. This interactive session will cover everything from building an event brand to curating line-ups, with insights drawn from over 20 years in the creative industries.
Dan Tsu is a creative director, event producer, educator and founder of creative agency Lyrix Organix (est. 2009). A multi-disciplinary facilitator (British Council), Lead Lecturer (BIMM London) & Senior Programme Manager (Roundhouse), Dan designs and delivers live platforms and youth education programmes across music, spoken word, social action, entrepreneurship and event management for the likes of Southbank Centre, Trinity Laban, Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, British Council and Cardboard Citizens.
Dan is perhaps best known as co-founder of Glastonbury Festival’s legendary Rum Shack – working with the likes of Greentea Peng, Akala, Kojey Radical, Kae Tempest and Mike Skinner. As director of Lyrix Organix, Dan is renowned for boundary-pushing physical and digital events that explore the intersection of live music, poetry and hip hop, to promote youth and social action. He has worked from Ukraine to Cuba, Ethiopia to Mexico
