Genre-defying artist Amaarae brings her bold new era to Roundhouse with THE BLACK STAR EXPERIENCE, an immersive live show celebrating her groundbreaking third album, BLACK STAR. Known for blending alternative pop, R&B, Afrobeats, techno and global club sounds, Amaarae has become one of the most innovative voices redefining contemporary music.
Raised between Atlanta, New Jersey and Accra, Amaarae channels her cross-cultural identity and Ghanaian heritage into a sound that is fluid, futuristic and fiercely independent. BLACK STAR—crafted across Miami, Los Angeles, Brazil and Accra — reimagines African dance genres through a global lens, connecting them with the Black-led roots of house and techno. The result is a powerful, joy-filled statement of pride, liberation and creative fearlessness.
