Three Sixty Festival
Julie Adenuga brings the unfiltered chaos of Julie’s Top 5 to the Roundhouse, debating the ultimate Black British Anthems with special guests Trevor Nelson, Rachael Anson, Sarel and Chuckie Online
Get ready for a night of unfiltered music-ranking chaos as Julie Adenuga brings her hit show Julie’s Top 5 to its biggest stage yet – expect side-eyes, shouting matches and a celebration of British music past and present.
Join Julie and her special guests Trevor Nelson, Rachael Anson, Sarel and Chuckie Online plus more to be announced, as they battle it out to answer one impossible question: What are the Top 5 Black British Anthems of all time?
Each guest will arrive armed with their own personal Top 5, but by the end of the night, they must collectively agree on just five songs to make the final list. Friendships may be tested. Egos will be bruised.
With Black British music spanning generations and genres, from Grime and Garage to Rap, Afro Swing and beyond, this isn’t just a debate, it’s a celebration of a rich, always evolving musical legacy.
Soundtracked by Julie’s house band, alongside some very special surprise live performances, this is the kind of energy you simply cannot recreate from your sofa. And it’s what Three Sixty festival is all about.
Are you ready to throw hands for Talkin’ The Hardest, campaign for POW or petition for P’s & Q’s? Bring your opinions. Bring your energy. Bring your voice, because at the end of the night, only five songs will survive.
With fifteen years of experience, Julie Adenuga is one of the most accomplished interviewers and presenters working in Britain, with influence across the diaspora. Her career spans radio, television, web series, and events, with storytelling grounded in the search for deeper meaning.
After making her name as a host for Rinse FM and Apple Music’s Beats 1, she founded production house Don’t Trust The Internet and created Julie’s Top 5 in 2019. The British Film Institute selected the show for archiving as part of its Moving Image Project, a testament to its cultural significance.
April 2026 will mark its biggest live event yet at London’s Roundhouse. Now approaching its seventh season, she plans to continue its global expansion, with shoots planned in West Africa and the United States. Julie’s interviews with artists like Summer Walker, Jorja Smith, and Skepta have produced cultural moments that audiences continue to discuss. This expertise has made her a highly sought-after voice for major documentaries, including the HBO original Wizkid: Long Live Lagos.
As an executive producer, she developed and presented Now You Know for BET UK and Channel 5, and hosted the Webby Award-winning Drunk History: Black Stories. She continues to nurture innovation across creative fields as an investor in Black-owned ventures like Nigerian restaurant Chuku’s, and beauty brand Ruka Hair, a natural extension of her commitment to being anti-algorithm, pro-talent, and rooted in community.
