In 2006, we didn't just reopen a venue. We opened a door.

Twenty years ago, the Roundhouse was transformed from a derelict railway building into a multi-arts performance venue and youth charity.

Our mission was simple and urgent: to invest in the next generation of creative talent.

Since 2006, we have established ourselves as the largest creative youth centre in the UK, inside an iconic Grade II* listed performance space. From the legendary artists who have graced our circular stage to over 10,000 young people a year who join our creative programmes each year, we are fueling a diverse and thriving creative industry.

Our pledge

In 2026, we’re celebrating this achievement and pledging to:

Extend our Reach

We pledge to engage 15,000 young people annually. We will do this by building skills in our Creative Studios, expanding Roundhouse Works for entrepreneurs, and launching a new creative digital platform to reach young people across the UK.

Create Unique Opportunities for Artists

We will deliver a rich performance programme in our iconic venue, including festivals like Three Sixty, the Poetry Slam, and Centre 59—the theatre programme founded by Daniel Kaluuya.

Provide Safe, Inclusive Spaces for Audiences

We commit to offering world-class gigs and performances in a space where every guest knows that every £1 they spend directly provides access to creative opportunities for young people.

Will you invest in a bold future?

In 2026 Roundhouse needs to raise £2,000,000 to provide space and opportunities for thousands of young people to build skills, community and pathways to employment. There are many ways to support them, such as:

  • Become a Legend at £1,500 and enjoy privileged access to our gig and performance programme.
  • Partner through your business from £10,000 to align with our vibrant brand and create unique experiences for colleagues and clients.
  • Sponsor a Studio from £25,000 and know you are providing year round access for young musicians developing skills and community.
