For those seeking an alternative party on Royal Wedding night,  Run Riot presents a one-off night of haircuts, theatre, live music, animation, cabaret, Live Art and DJs, hosted by Josh Knowles and taking inspiration from the evening’s centrepiece – Mark Storor’s production, The Fat Girl Gets A Haircut and Other Stories. Needless to say, there’s not a corgi in sight.

The Haircut Before The Party (limited capacity, ticket holders only)
6-7.10pm
A ten minute pre-show experience in which appearances alter and new paths are presented. Book for your very own snip and chop in exchange for sharing your own candid tales with members of this artist-come-hairdresser collective. Due to limited capacity, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To guarantee a haircut we recommend you reserve a session in advance by phone on 020 7424 6780 or in person at the Roundhouse Box office.

7.30–9pm
The Fat Girl Gets a Haircut and Other Stories is Mark Storor's theatrical Live Art production – a grown-up show created in collaboration with a cast of teenagers. In 13 explicit portraits, the show tells their candid tales of love, family, sexuality and religion through performance, live music and 360-degree video projection, all under the roof of the Roundhouse’s atmospheric main space.

9pm–1am

Running riot in the later hours will be a cast of truth-seekers, story-tellers and players, featuring Bryony Kimmings and Jess Latowicki, Fabulous Russella, Josh Knowles and Marawa the Amazing, hula hoop extraordinaire! After that it’s less talking and more dancing as DJ AJ Holmes gets us all jiggy with his infamous, irresistably bouncy New Electric Hi-Life party tracks.
