Singing in an Ensemble

Ages 15-17

Roundhouse Studios

Looking for something inspiring to do this half term?

This four-day music project is designed for young singers and musicians who want to explore their voice, develop ensemble skills, and make music together in a fun, creative environment. You’ll experiment with rhythm, body percussion, and group performance while learning how to listen, blend, and collaborate as part of a team.

By the end of the project, you’ll have created an exciting final piece as a group and gained confidence performing in a supportive, creative space.

What you’ll get:

  • Explore your voice – Try new techniques, experiment with pitch and tone, and discover what your voice can do
  • Play and create as a team – Develop ensemble skills through rhythm, body percussion, and group exercises
  • Collaborate creatively – Learn to listen, respond, and blend with other musicians to create something unique

Who is teaching the project?

Experienced vocal coaches and ensemble leaders.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?

Whether you love singing in choirs, performing pop or musical theatre, or just want to strengthen your musicianship, this project is for you. No prior formal training is required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to explore your voice and work with others.

How to join?

Book your place using the enrol button on this page. Spaces are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

I’M NOT SURE I CAN AFFORD TO TAKE PART…

If you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare, we can help. Find out how you can get support. If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.
