About Liv Little:

Liv Little is an author, filmmaker, creative director and broadcaster whose work spans film, television, editorial and brand storytelling. She is best known as the founder and former CEO of gal-dem, the groundbreaking media platform that reshaped the UK’s publishing landscape by amplifying the voices of women and non-binary people of colour.

Her debut novel, Rosewater, was published in 2023 by Dialogue Books in the UK and John Legend’s Get Lifted imprint in the US, with her second novel, BitterMelon, due in 2026. Liv’s debut feature film is currently in development with the BBC and Parkville Pictures, and she has worked in writers’ rooms for See-Saw Films, Left Bank Pictures and 42. She also served as the BBC’s Writer in Residence in 2021, where her pilot was later featured on the Brit List 2022/23.

Alongside her creative work, Liv has directed and produced for major broadcasters including BBC and Channel 4, hosted the Nike x ELLE podcast Why I… Move, and is a contributing editor for ELLE UK. She has fronted global campaigns for brands such as Absolut, Squarespace, MAC, Samsung and Pandora, and continues to use her platform to champion authentic, community-driven storytelling.

Named a Future Leader, LGBTQI+ Broadcaster of the Year, and Rising Star by the WOW Foundation, Liv has also been featured in BBC 100 Women and Forbes 30 Under 30.
