Taking place at the iconic Roundhouse, (in their newest building Roundhouse Works), FIXT FEST is a one-day career festival designed to equip young creatives with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build sustainable careers in the arts, media, music, and beyond.
Together, SocialFIXT and the Roundhouse are reimagining what talent pipelines can look like, centring community, culture, and real opportunity at every stage.
If you’re a creative industry freelancer or entrepreneur (or trying to be!), this is THE event for you. Get practical insights to take your next career step, be in the room with industry experts, and maybe meet your next client or collaborator.

Zeze Millz – Turning Passion Into Profit: The Creative’s Roadmap
Zeze Millz is a broadcaster and presenter known for her fearless voice and unapologetic approach to conversations shaping culture today. She first made her mark with The Zeze Millz Show on YouTube, before going on to front major programmes including Channel 4’s Unapologetic and ITV’s Breaking Through.
Her career spans TV, radio, and podcasts, from co-hosting the +44 Podcast to appearances on Celebrity Big Brother, while continuing to champion authentic perspectives across the entertainment industry. With a reputation for tackling big issues head-on, Zeze has become one of the UK’s most dynamic and influential cultural commentators, and will be sharing how to transform your creativity into a sustainable career.
Elijah – Thriving In The Early Years
Elijah is a writer and DJ with 15 years of experience across London’s independent music and arts scene, spanning artist and label management, event production, and creative direction. He shares his insights on creative work through his project Yellow Squares, which has grown into visual installations, an album, a book, and a lecture series presented all over the world.
His work extends across media and music, from contributing to The Guardian to presenting for Rinse FM, and co-founding the influential grime record label Butterz (2010–2021). Known for his deep understanding of the creative process, Elijah brings a unique perspective on thriving in the early stages of a creative career.

Mercedes Benson is a multi-hyphenate creative, DJ, and founder of SocialFixt – a platform on a mission to address the diversity problem in the creative industry. What started as a job board has grown into a movement, connecting thousands of Black and Brown creatives to jobs, workshops and opportunities they were never meant to miss.
SocialFIXT is a job search platform, whose mission is to see more creative black talent not just on billboards, but in BOARDROOMS TOO. We help and educate companies on hiring, retaining and empowering black talent within their company pipelines. Let’s fix it, the SocialFIXT way.
FIXT FEST is part of Roundhouse’s Self Made programme, providing professional development support for creative freelancers and entrepreneurs aged 18-30.
