Physical Theatre: Telling Stories with Movement

Ages 11-14

Ready to tell stories without saying a word?

Step into the world of physical theatre in this one-off workshop. You will learn how to use your body to create characters, build worlds, and bring ideas to life on stage.

What is Physical Theatre?

Physical theatre is a type of performance that uses movement instead of just words to tell a story. It mixes acting and dance to help you express your ideas creatively.

What you’ll gain:

  • Movement skills: Explore fun ways to tell stories using your body.
  • Confidence: Build your confidence through supportive team exercises.
  • Teamwork: Learn how to collaborate and share ideas with other young people.
  • Theatrical play: Experiment with physical games and fun improvisation tasks.

Who it’s for:

This workshop is for young people aged 11–14 who want to explore performance. Absolutely no previous experience is required to join. Just bring your imagination!
