UK Jazz has always been a melting pot of expression. GEN:Jazz is an exploration of the evolution of UK jazz, interpreted by some of the most promising musicians in the scene today. GEN:Jazz is about paying respects to the diverse heritage of the genre while celebrating the ongoing metamorphosis of UK Jazz and showcasing the emerging talent shaping its future.
NIA

NIA is a Birmingham born – London based artist exploring classic jazz practice with a soulfully authentic twist, offering their captivating vocal and distinctive tone as a vessel for truth. Raised on the music of Sarah Vaughan, Steel Pulse, D’Angelo and Jill Scott, NIA’s music sheds light on themes of introspection and human connection.
SULA
SULA consists of Miranda Radford (drums), Aleks Dimitrova (bass) and Kezia Abuoma (piano); currently studying jazz at Trinity Laban and mentored by Tomorrow’s Warriors. These exciting young musicians take inspiration from Kris Davis, Wayne Shorter and Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, coming together to perform original compositions and music inspired by the sounds of modern jazz.
Brisa
Brisa is a Peruvian artist blending jazz with Latin American folk traditions. Brisa is a participant in the Tomorrow’s Warriors education programme, and in 2025 she released her Jazz-Bolero EP ‘Del Mar Y Sus Recuerdos’, featuring various UK musicians combining contemporary UK jazz with the classic tradition of Latin American boleros.
Bonita House Band
The Bonita House Band is a British-Latin collective based in London blending Latin styles like salsa, cumbia & folklore with jazz, creating a unique “Latin/London sound”. Directed by Santiago Morales, the band fuses traditional roots and experimentalism, as seen in their collaborations with artists like Colombian legend Fruko. They aim to represent the modern Latin experience of the UK and have released a 5-track EP titled From Here, From There.
