Join the Roundhouse Music Collective: an 8-month programme for the next generation of music talent to create, collaborate and perform live. Applications close Friday 16 October, 10am. Don’t miss out!
The Roundhouse Music Collective is a community of talented artists and musicians coming together for an 8-month programme of music-making, workshops, industry masterclasses, performance opportunities and recording sessions. Guided by industry professionals, it’s a supportive environment to hone your craft, build your network and elevate the next stage of your music journey.
“My highlight was meeting other musicians my age and forming close bonds with them over the year. I have formed creative connections that I will continue to nurture beyond the programme.” Music Collective Member 25/26
“One of the best takeaways was the connections I made. I feel like I’ve found people who I can start music projects with and I was missing access to that before I started the programme.” Music Collective Member 24/25
“The most important thing that I have gained from the programme is confidence in myself as a guitarist and musician. I am now able to bring different flavours to my own music that I definitely wouldn’t have explored before.” Music Collective Member 24/25
This programme is for 18–25 year olds who are already making music – whether you write songs, produce tracks, play an instrument or are a vocalist. You don’t need formal qualifications or released music; unreleased demos and rough ideas are more than welcome! You could be completely self-taught or classically trained – both are equally valid. What matters most is that you’re actively creating original material and ready to collaborate with others.
Complete our online application form by Friday 16 October, 10am.
We ask these questions to get a sense of who you are and what you could bring to the group. Please feel free to elaborate on your background and be specific about your role/your contribution in the music you submit.
If you’re shortlisted you will be contacted w/c 23 November 2026 by a member of our team who will invite you to an individual audition/playback at the Roundhouse Studios. Your audition will last approximately 15 minutes and will involve a short performance and some informal questions.
The auditions will take place over the following dates between 5.30-9pm
If you are successful in your audition, you will be notified by email and invited to join the group. There will be a welcome induction session on Tuesday 15 December and the programme sessions will start on Tuesday 12 January 2027.
Applicants must be available to attend weekly sessions at the Roundhouse on Tuesday evenings, 6-9pm (excluding holidays)
We can’t wait to hear from you!

We are committed to supporting D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse young people, those with medical conditions, access requirements or any lived experience that may require adaptation, support or sensitivity. If there is anything you would like to let us (our youth workers, tutors or staff) know that will support your enjoyment and access, you can do so by emailing us at advicebase@roundhouse.org.uk, and we will contact you to discuss further how to best support your engagement.
