Got a story idea but not sure how to bring it to life on screen? This hands-on workshop introduces you to the art of storytelling for film – from developing your first concept to writing a professional script. You’ll learn how to build rich characters, shape strong story structures, and explore what makes a script stand out. 

By the end, you’ll have the tools and confidence to start shaping your own cinematic stories – and a clearer sense of how to turn your ideas into tight scripts that get greenlit.

Meet the tutor

Georgia Goggin is a producer, screenwriter, and director, nominated for the 2023 Breakthrough Producer BIFA for Pretty Red Dress. Her work includes the acclaimed short We Love Moses and the BBC-funded Bend, screened at festivals including Encounters, London Short Film Festival, and Underwire. She is currently writing a feature for The Electric Shadow Company and a TV series for The Development Partnership, and works as a development executive for The Uncertain Kingdom fund. Georgia is also an alum of Sundance, EIFF, and Rotterdam talent programmes.
