How to use Roundhouse Creative Studios

Want to use the Roundhouse Creative Studios but not sure where to start? Or maybe you’ve booked before and still have questions?

This session is for you.

How to use Roundhouse Creative Studios sessions are relaxed, hands-on walkthroughs designed to help you feel confident, capable, and ready to create. Whether you’re rehearsing, recording, producing or DJing, we’ll show you how the space works — no pressure, no jargon.

By the end, you won’t just know the studios. You’ll feel like they belong to you.

What you’ll get

  • Studio confidence – Learn how to set up and use the Production Room, DJ Room, and Large & Small Rehearsal Rooms
  • Practical skills – Understand equipment basics, studio layouts, and simple troubleshooting
  • Peer connection – Meet other young creatives using the studios
  • Ongoing support – Ask questions and get advice from experienced studio staff

About the team

Sessions are led by our Studios Tech Store Assistants — friendly, experienced creatives who know the studios inside out. They’re there to guide you, answer questions, and help you get the most out of the space.

Experience level

No experience needed.

This session is ideal if you’re completely new or if you’ve used the studios before and want to feel more confident.

How to join

No booking necessary. Just turn up! 

  • Dates: 13 April, 11 May, 8 June, 13 July (every second Monday of the month)
  • Times: 6.30-8pm
  • Ages: 13-25
  • Location: Roundhouse Creative Studios 
  • Price – What to bring / wear – You should wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes/trainers you can move in, and bring a bottle of water.

If you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare, we can help. Find out how you can get support. If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.
