Ages 18-30
Are you a freelancer who wants to scale your business? Or maybe you just want to press pause on the daily grind and take stock? You need a Freelancer Strategy Day.
As freelancers, it can be only too easy to get so caught up in the day-to-day “doing” of work that we forget to take any time to sit back and think about what we’re really trying to achieve or how we can grow our business. This one-day workshop will give you the space to do exactly that.
Self Made is powered by Inflexion Foundation.
When you work for a large organisation, it’s normal to receive regular training, professional development, and time away from day-to-day tasks to focus on the bigger strategy. As a freelancer, any day not actively producing work can feel like a missed income opportunity. The Freelancer Strategy Day offers a unique chance to get that same level of support and to establish a plan that lets you focus on your long-term career goals – without sacrificing your creative energy or values.
Aim of the day: for each participant to leave with a clear plan for the next year, immediate action steps to move them towards it, and a network of peers to help keep them accountable

If you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare, we can help. Find out how you can get support. If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.
We are committed to supporting D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse young people, those with medical conditions, access requirements or any lived experience that may require adaptation, support or sensitivity. If there is anything you would like to let us (our youth workers, tutors or staff) know that will support your enjoyment and access, you can do so by emailing us at advicebase@roundhouse.org.uk, and we will contact you to discuss further how to best support your engagement.
