Financial Literary Support

Ages 11-25

Money can feel complicated, confusing, and even a bit awkward to talk about. From payslips and tax returns to bank accounts and saving, it’s easy to feel unsure about how to manage your own finances.

Money Circuit is here to change that. These one-to-one sessions at the Roundhouse give you a safe space to ask questions, learn practical skills, and gain confidence in understanding your money — no judgment, just support.

Whether you want to get a grip on budgeting, understand your payslip, or just feel more confident about handling cash and bank accounts, these sessions are designed for you.

What you’ll get

  • Understand your money – Learn how to manage income, savings, and expenses with confidence
  • Practical advice – Ask questions about tax, payslips, bank accounts, budgeting, and more
  • Build confidence – Gain the knowledge you need to make informed financial decisions
  • One-to-one support – Work directly with experts in financial literacy
  • Take control – Leave with practical skills you can use immediately

Who is running the project?

The sessions are delivered by Money Circuit, a partner organisation specialising in financial education for young people. Their friendly team will guide you through all your money questions.

Experience level

No experience needed. Just bring your questions and an open mind.

How to enrol

I’M NOT SURE I CAN AFFORD TO TAKE PART…

If you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare, we can help. Find out how you can get support. If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.

I HAVE ADDITIONAL NEEDS. WHAT SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE?

We are committed to supporting D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse young people, those with medical conditions, access requirements or any lived experience that may require adaptation, support or sensitivity. If there is anything you would like to let us (our youth workers, tutors or staff) know that will support your enjoyment and access, you can do so by emailing us at advicebase@roundhouse.org.uk, and we will contact you to discuss further how to best support your engagement.
