DJ Drop In (18-25)

Ages 18-25

Take control of the booth. Whether you’re into house, hip-hop, or experimental electronic sounds, this weekly drop-in is your space to experiment, practice, and level up your mixing in a professional setting.

You’ll get hands-on with industry-standard kit, moving past the basics to find your own style. It’s a relaxed but focused environment where you can refine your transitions, master technical skills like beatmatching and EQing, or start from scratch with guidance from our resident experts.

It’s about the community. Connect with other DJs, share tracks, and build the confidence to take your sound from the studio to a live set.

What you’ll get:

  • Get hands-on with the Roundhouse’s professional DJ decks and equipment.
  • Refine essential skills including beatmatching, EQing, and scratching.
  • Work toward building a full DJ set that reflects your unique sound and style.
  • Meet and connect with a community of other young DJs and future collaborators.
  • Get direct guidance and industry tips from our resident DJ tutors.

Who is teaching the project?

These sessions are guided by our team of experienced resident DJ tutors. They are active industry professionals who bring real-world knowledge from the UK booth and club scene directly to the studio.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?

All abilities welcome. These sessions are aimed at beginners, covering all the essential skills you need to start, but those with previous experience are encouraged to come along and use the space to level up.
