Drama Club

Ages 11-14

Ready to bring your own characters to life?

Drama Club is a fun, termly course designed for 11–14 year olds who want to explore drama skills and find their creative voice.

Led by experienced theatre practitioners, you’ll dive into new worlds using improvisation games, storytelling, and character creation.

You’ll work as part of a consistent group over the term, building the confidence to express yourself and the skills to create theatre from scratch. There’s no audition process or previous experience required – just enthusiasm to get stuck in!

The course leads to an informal sharing session, where you can invite friends and family to see the scenes and stories you’ve developed together.

What you’ll get:

  • Performance Skills: Learn and practice techniques for improvisation, role-play and storytelling.
  • Creative Writing: Get hands-on experience with script writing and developing original stories.
  • Self-Confidence: Build your creative courage in an inclusive, supportive space.
  • Ensemble Building: Develop essential teamwork and communication skills by working with the same group of people.
  • A Final Showcase: The opportunity to share your work with an audience of friends and family in the final session.

Who is teaching the project?

This project will be led by two experienced professional theatre practitioners. Our facilitators are experts at creating an environment where every young person feels comfortable to experiment, play, and learn.

Experience Level

All levels are welcome. No audition or previous experience is required – all we ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to learn!
