After more than three years, dodie has surprised fans with the release of ‘I’M FINE!’ — her first solo single since 2022’s Hot Mess EP. Released via her new label Decca Records, the song is a beautifully raw and layered reflection on mental health — what she calls “a sarcastic and hollow exclaim… a mental battle between panic and relief.” Co-created with longtime collaborators Joe Rubel and Sammy Paul, the track arrives alongside a poignant music video and signals the return of one of the UK’s most beloved singer-songwriters to solo work.
dodie has spent over a decade building a deeply personal bond with her audience, sharing her vulnerabilities through haunting melodies and candid lyrics. From her viral beginnings to her acclaimed debut album Build A Problem (which charted at #3 in the UK), she’s captivated millions—garnering over 1 billion streams and a following of more than 7 million across platforms.
In recent years, she’s explored new creative horizons with the band FIZZ (alongside Orla Gartland, Greta Isaac, and Martin Luke Brown), releasing the critically acclaimed The Secret To Life in 2023. After touring extensively with FIZZ—including a stop at Glastonbury—dodie has returned to her roots with a renewed voice, fresh perspective, and emotional clarity.
