Circus Experience Week

Ages 11-14

Whether you’re a regular at our weekly circus drop in workshops, or looking to try circus for the very first time, this is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of circus arts.

With more time in the air and on the floor, we’ll cover the basics and move beyond, build your confidence on the aerial silks, hoop, and trapeze, and sharpen your skills in acrobatics and parkour.

For newcomers, it’s the perfect introduction to circus. As for our regulars, it’s a chance to “level up” your skills with three consecutive days of workshops.

Note: The regular Wednesday Circus Drop-in will not run during half-term week – this project is the place to be!

What you’ll get

  • Aerial Immersion: Spend dedicated time to practice new skills or perfect techniques on hoop, rope, static trapeze, and silks.
  • Floor skills: Develop your balance and agility with acrobatics, parkour, tightwire and juggling.
  • Creative Confidence: Work collaboratively, building trust and communication skills.
  • Learn from experts: Train directly with industry professionals who perform and teach circus arts globally.

Who is teaching?

This project is led by our professional circus tutors. Our facilitators are experts at breaking down complex circus techniques into safe, achievable steps. They are experienced in tailoring their teaching to a mixed-ability group, ensuring that everyone—from first-timers to seasoned regulars—is challenged and supported.

Experience level

All levels are welcome! No previous experience is needed. This is the perfect environment for beginners to start their journey or for regular participants to refine their skills.

I HAVE ADDITIONAL NEEDS. WHAT SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE?

We are committed to supporting D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse young people, those with medical conditions, access requirements or any lived experience that may require adaptation, support or sensitivity.
