Cabaret Voltaire bring their 50th anniversary show to the Roundhouse, marking half a century since the band’s first-ever live performance.
Original members Stephen Mallinder and Chris Watson reunite for a performance celebrating the radical sound and legacy of Cabaret Voltaire – pioneers of industrial, electronic, and audiovisual experimentation.
This show honours the group’s formative influence, from early DIY electronics to their Doublevision label and collaborations with Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson.
Committed to staying true to the enduring vision of Cabaret Voltaire, the performance will span the arc of their formidable output — from early experiments and the first Rough Trade and Factory releases, through the band’s Doublevision video label, and into their work with renowned producers such as Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson.
