A night of poetry curated by Eleanor Cousins Brown
In 1980, one generation ago, 40% of people in the UK lived in council housing. Today, that figure is just 6%.
Brickwork is a poetry night and zine launch. It celebrates the life of UK estates with poets who’ve lived in them – passing through or part of the fabric.
Together, they tell the many stories of estates, too often flattened to a single narrative. Brickwork etches out the community, inequality, possibility, and above all the life of these homes.
Applications for the Brickwork zine and live performance are now open. Use this link to sign up: HERE
