Ages 18-25
Join us for an engaging session designed to develop and enhance your editing and post-production skills for film and TV. This hands-on workshop will give participants the chance to build confidence in key areas such as video editing, colour correction, and sound editing. You’ll have the opportunity to practise techniques, ask questions, troubleshoot challenges, and learn more advanced workflows to take your post-production skills to the next level.
This session will be task-based, focusing on real-world post-production scenarios, including editing short sequences, applying colour grading techniques, and refining audio tracks.
Do you have any questions or recent issues you’d like to address in this session? Let us know in advance so we can tailor the support on the day.
The session will be guided by film and TV experts.
You’ll need some basic editing experience to get the most out of this session. This workshop is designed for those who’ve already started exploring post-production and want to build on their existing skills.
Alternatively, you might have completed some entry-level training – this might include programmes like the Roundhouse’s Behind the Lens, similar courses with other youth media organisations, or a practical media studies course at sixth form or college, using professional or prosumer equipment.

If you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare, we can help. Find out how you can get support. If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.
We are committed to supporting D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse young people, those with medical conditions, access requirements or any lived experience that may require adaptation, support or sensitivity. If there is anything you would like to let us (our youth workers, tutors or staff) know that will support your enjoyment and access, you can do so by emailing us at advicebase@roundhouse.org.uk, and we will contact you to discuss further how to best support your engagement.
