London trio bar italia are turning their underground mystique into widescreen ambition. After a breakout 2023 with ‘Tracey Denim’ and ‘The Twits’, they return with Some Like It Hot (out 17 October) — an album that matches raw emotion with stadium-sized hooks.

Pulling from post-punk, folk-pop, and restless rock, the record is full of big choruses, sharp guitars and three distinct voices that crash together in unexpected ways. Songs like “Cowbella” and “Omni Shambles” show a band pushing themselves further than ever—romantic, jagged, and unafraid.
