Want to share your passion for the Roundhouse and gain valuable experience? We’re looking for enthusiastic Youth Ambassadors to champion our work! In this role, you’ll represent the Roundhouse at external events, share your personal experiences of our projects and Studios, and help others discover our creative programmes. It’s a brilliant chance to develop your communication skills, build confidence, advocate for the arts, and make a real impact in the community.

What is a Youth Ambassador?
As a Youth Ambassador you’ll play a key role in advocating for the Roundhouse. You’ll represent us at external events, for example local community festivals or university events, and have the opportunity to share your own experiences of the Studios/youth projects. You’ll be able to confidently discuss the resources we offer at the studios including the Creative Studio Membership and the programmes we run.
Who can apply?
- This application is open to young people aged 18 – 25 who are either current Creative Studios Members or actively engaged in Roundhouse Youth Projects

What is the time commitment?
- Each cohort will work with us for a year, and we aim to offer you at least 2-4 events during this time
- You will need to have good weekend availability June – Sept as we attend local festivals over these months
What skills or experience do I need to apply?
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Committed to the Roundhouse as an organisation
- Passionate about the youth programmes that Roundhouse delivers
- Actively involved in the Roundhouse studios/projects
- Able to communicate effectively and present their experience to others
- Reliable and good at timekeeping.
How much will you be paid?
- £52.60 – up to and including 4 hours of work
£105.20 – over 4 hours of work up to a maximum of 8 hours
