The Gala is the biggest fundraising event in the Roundhouse calendar, with all funds raised going directly towards its work with young people aged 11 to 30. The event comes at a landmark moment for the iconic Camden venue and youth charity, which is celebrating 20 years since reopening and has now engaged 100,000 young people through its creative programmes.

Taking place at the Roundhouse on Wednesday 25 March, the Gala promises a spectacular evening of live performances from Gabrielle Aplin, Rick Astley, Kim Wilde, Chanel Haynes and Sharleen Spiteri. Roundhouse youth programme alumni singer BINA. and poet Bradley Taylor and current Roundhouse Resident Artist YAZ will also perform.

The Gala has been organised by a Committee chaired by guitarist, singer, songwriter, actor and co-founding member of Spandau Ballet Gary Kemp, alongside vice-chairs Director of Music at the BBC Lorna Clarke and theatre producer Nick Allott, OBE.

Michaela Greene, Partnerships and Impact Director at the Roundhouse, said:
“The Roundhouse Rise Up 20 Gala raises vital funds to ensure that we can continue our important work providing creative opportunities for young people. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated such generous and unique prizes. There are some truly extraordinary experiences available, all in support of an amazing cause. We hope our community will rise up to help us power the next 20 years of young creativity.”
