Our Benefits

The following benefits are available to employees at Roundhouse. Please note that there may be qualifying criteria for some benefits.

Holiday

25 days’ holiday per year plus bank holidays pro rata, increasing after 2 years’ service up to a maximum of 30 days per year. Ability to buy an additional 3 days of annual leave and carry over up to 5 days into the next annual leave year.

Pension

You will exchange (a minimum of) 4% of your basic salary to be contributed to your pension fund. The Company will contribute 4%, and in addition add 13.8% of the amount exchanged in respect of the National Insurance saved by the Company. You may increase the amount you exchange at any time.

Season Ticket Loan

We offer an interest free season ticket loan to be paid back in 10 instalments to help cover the cost of travelling to and from the workplace.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Your EAP is a free, confidential service which provides useful information, practical support and counselling on a wide range of work, family and personal issues.

Staff Discount

Employees are entitled to up to 20% off drinks in the Roundhouse Bar and Café

Staff Tickets

The Staff Ticket Scheme offers an allocation of complimentary tickets to people employed by the Roundhouse for selected events across the year.

Group Life Assurance

In the event that a staff member passes away whilst working at the Roundhouse, their loved ones will receive a tax-free lump sum of three times their annual salary.

Health Cash Plan

Staff can claim back expenses relating to day-to-day care costs (i.e. dental and optical), as well as more specific claims such as investigations and specialist treatments (e.g. physiotherapy and osteopathy).

BHN Extras

An online portal which allows staff to access a cycle-to-work scheme, tech and home discount scheme, discounted gift cards and a cashback card.

Family Friendly Leave

Two different enhanced maternity payment plans to choose from, and up to 6 weeks of paternity leave. The equivalent enhanced leave and pay also applies to adoptions.

Staff Networks, Forums, and Social Groups

Our staff networks allow staff to celebrate, be involved with, and lead on initiatives to champion EDI. We also have staff groups that focus on sustainability, health & safety, and an all-staff forum. Social activities include a book club, a run club, and a creative circle to practice creativity.
