Want to see what project rEVOLUTION is all about? Sign up for our taster workshop on Wednesday 10 December. It’s a great chance to meet the team and experience what it’s like to dance with Boy Blue.
Please bring trainers and wear comfortable clothes you can dance in (no jeans etc).
Please note attending the workshop doesn’t guarantee a place on this programme, you will still need to submit an application.
Roundhouse and the Olivier Award-winning hip hop dance company Boy Blue are looking for the next generation of creative dancers for Project rEVOLUTION – a four-month intensive programme (Jan–Apr 2026) for intermediate to advanced dancers who want to grow creatively, develop their style, and experience what it’s like to work in a professional setting.
Led by Boy Blue artists, you will train, explore hip hop dance theatre, freestyle, and choreography. You’ll collaborate with other Roundhouse Young Creatives in music and spoken word to create a brand-new piece from scratch. The programme culminates in a paid opportunity to perform on the Roundhouse stage in April.
Founded in London in 2001 by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy, Boy Blue is the award-winning radical force that has defined the power of hip hop dance theatre. Artistic Associates of the Barbican, their work includes Pied Piper, the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, and the GCSE Dance set work Emancipation of Expressionism.
Book your place on this taster workshop using the enrol button on this page.
