A space to chill, chat and connect.
Being a young man in today’s creative world can come with pressure—expectations to be confident, focused, driven… even when you’re still figuring things out. The Men’s Group is a relaxed, welcoming space where you don’t need to have it all together. You can show up as you are, speak your mind, and connect with others going through similar experiences. Our Taster Days are a laid-back intro to the group.
Each session is split into two parts:
Chill – time to unwind, play games, and share music or creative work.
Chat – a guided, open conversation about things like self-doubt, confidence, identity and modern masculinity.
Start the session by easing in:
As the evening goes on, we move into deeper conversation, shaped by you:
The space is run by trained youth workers—not to lecture, but to hold the space and support you. You’re free to engage however feels right for you. Whether you’re here to meet people, express yourself, or just take a breather from the usual grind—we’ve got you.
You don’t need any experience to take part. This project is for 18-25-year-olds who identify as male (including trans men). You could be a member of Roundhouse Creative Studios, have taken part in a Roundhouse youth project, or be completely new to the Roundhouse. Join us for a safe space to discuss and connect with others!
The sessions will be facilitated by experienced Youth Workers, creating a safe and welcoming environment.
Book your place using the book button on this page. Spaces are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.
If you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare, we can help. Find out how you can get support. If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.
We are committed to supporting D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse young people, those with medical conditions, access requirements or any lived experience that may require adaptation, support or sensitivity. If there is anything you would like to let us (our youth workers, tutors or staff) know that will support your enjoyment and access, you can do so by emailing us at advicebase@roundhouse.org.uk, and we will contact you to discuss further how to best support your engagement.
