Interested in visual art or digital media? This hands-on workshop is your chance to explore projection mapping — a technique that lets you project videos onto surfaces like walls, floors, or 3D objects in creative and unexpected ways.
Across four sessions, you’ll learn how to edit video, manipulate images, and use intuitive mapping software to shape visuals to fit different spaces. You’ll get to create your own audiovisual piece, experiment with real-time projection, and even learn how to stream your work online.

We’ll wrap up the programme with a joint sharing session on Thursday 23 October, where you’ll team up with the DJing group to show what you’ve been working on. It’s a great chance to share your creations, check out each other’s projects, and celebrate everything you’ve done together in a chilled, supportive space.
Who will be teaching the project?
Dr Blanca Regina Pérez-Bustamante is an artist, independent curator and educator based in London. She creates audiovisual performances, sound works, installations, and films. Her research and practice covers video mapping, sound art, moving images, performance, and multimedia events. www.whiteemotion.com
Pierre Bouvier Patron is a visual artist based in London. His work spans a range of media, including digital video and film, with which he creates moving image works, performances and installations.
Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
This event is primarily aimed at beginners, but intermediate learners are very welcome too. The tutor can also support with specific skills that participants may want to learn.
We welcome everyone to attend—whether you’re completely new to the industry, a film lover, or a filmmaker with some experience.
