Step into our professional spaces and learn how to use industry-standard gear to bring your ideas to life. 

This session is a relaxed, hands-on walkthrough designed to give you the technical confidence to record, rehearse, and edit independently across all artforms. 

Whether you’re thinking about a Creative Studios Membership, or you’re already a member and want a refresher, join us and get comfortable in our spaces.

What you’ll gain:

  • Space set up: Learn to set up and use the Production Room, DJ Room, and our Large and Small Rehearsal Rooms.
  • Tech Confidence: Get a jargon-free introduction to industry-standard equipment and software.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Learn the pro tips and tricks for a smooth independent session.
  • Creative Community: Meet other creatives using the spaces
  • Professional Access: Understand how to become a member and book these spaces for your own projects. 

Who it’s for:

Young people aged 13–25. Whether you are a total beginner thinking about getting a membership, or you’re a member already and just want a refresher, this is a low-pressure space to explore. 

How to join:

  • No Advance Booking: This is a drop in project, you don’t need to book a space online beforehand. 
  • Arrive Early: Sign up open 30 minutes before the session starts. 
  • Check In: Head to the Roundhouse Creative Studios front desk to sign up. 
  • First-Come Basis: Spaces are first-come, first-served. Arrive by the start time at the latest to secure your spot.

If you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare, we can help. Find out how you can get support. If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.
