The project of songwriter Sabrina Teitelbaum, Blondshell pairs razor-sharp lyricism with crunchy guitars, colossal hooks, and the dry humour and emotional clarity of the very best alternative rock. Her self-titled 2023 debut announced a major new voice, landing on Barack Obama’s Best Songs of 2023 list and earning widespread acclaim.
Her acclaimed 2025 follow-up, If You Asked For A Picture, expanded that vision further, drawing influence from bands like Queens of the Stone Age and The Smashing Pumpkins while securing spots on year-end lists from Billboard, Rolling Stone and NME. The New York Times hailed her as “an alt-rock supernova”.
Following more than 150 shows, major festival appearances including Coachella and Glastonbury Festival, sold-out headline tours, and a companion release, Another Picture — featuring collaborators including Conor Oberst, Samia, John Glacier and Gigi Perez — Blondshell has cemented herself as one of alternative rock’s most compelling new voices.
