This half term, bring rhythms and words to life at Roundhouse. You’ll learn how to create rhythms with your voice, write original poetry, and perform your own work with confidence, collaborating with other young creatives to bring ideas to life. 

What you’ll gain

• Foundations of beatboxing: Learn the core foundations of beatboxing and vocal percussion as performance tools. 
• Vocal Techniques: Experiment with rhythm, voice, text and storytelling for the stage. 
• Original Writing: Bring together your writing and performance skills through spoken word and beatboxing.
• Collaboration: Work directly alongside professional artists and practitioners.
• Stage Presence: Build massive confidence in performing and sharing your unique ideas.
• The Showcase: Create an exciting final performance to share your work with friends and family.
