Marking their first album in eight years, British post-hardcore mainstays Basement return with their boldest and most daring record to date, Wired. Formed in 2009 by five close friends—vocalist Andrew Fisher, guitarists Alex Henery and Ronan Crix, bassist Duncan Stewart, and drummer James Fisher—the band has always shared an unshakeable, alchemic bond.
Following a period of existential reflection and a COVID-era hiatus, the quintet reconnected with a renewed sense of purpose and zero label pressures. Reuniting with original label Run For Cover Records, they teamed up with powerhouse producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Mannequin Pussy) to craft 12 dynamic, no-bloat tracks featuring growling guitars, striking emotional verbiage, and soaring choruses. Larger and more beloved than ever following a viral resurgence, Basement are back and firing on all cylinders for an unmissable live show.
