A poetry and dance piece by former UK poetry slam champion Adam Kammerling and a hyper-dynamic cohort of truly incredible artists, Seder examines intergenerational trauma and the rituals we make for connection. It asks how history brings us together, and considers, through the annual Jewish custom of the Seder, how all of us can celebrate our unlikely existence.
Developed from the poetry collection of the same name, Seder is a unique exploration of togetherness. It asks how far we can push the boundaries of tribal practice and how we welcome new bodies into an age-old space. It is both ancient and fiercely contemporary, lifting the lid off a religious practice to discover how it might encompass global stories of human survival.
