An exploration of inner states surrounding the ideas of depression and psychological death by Laura Elands.

Through puppetry and physical theatre, Christine’s thought processes are externalised and the audience is taken on her journey of psychological recovery. The stage represents the inside of her mind – puppets are used as metaphors for her fears and anxieties and physical theatre is used as a tool to convey her thought processes.

This piece attempts to draw the audience into a world of inner states often difficult to understand without having personally experienced them.
