Musician, composer and Mercury Prize nominated-producer Oneohtrix Point Never presents the next exciting phase of the astonishing ‘concertspace’ Myriad in early 2019.
Following a 5-star-reviewed rapid-sellout at London’s Barbican, this special event is set to be a stunning night that sees the next evolution of an incredible live performance spectacle, with special guests to be announced, and more.
Examining disorienting forms at the intersection of theatre, installation art and musical performance, and imagined from the perspective of an alien intelligence, Myriad in essence explores film and television tropes, abstract sculpture, game ephemera, poetry, apocryphal histories, internet esoterica, and philosophies of being. It looks towards the possibilities of the future whilst considering the conflict between today’s civilisation and the environment.
Myriad is composed from Oneohtrix Point Never’s celebrated new album Age Of out now on Warp records and follows a history of his site-specific commissions at the Museum of Modern Art, Tate Britain, MoMA PS1, and Edinburgh International Festival.
