Damned by name, damned by nature…? Laughing in the face of superstition, and with two fingers firmly raised to the music business in general, the legendary English eccentrics make a welcome return to London’s Roundhouse for their Friday 13 show, which promises to be a very special event.
Instrumental in kick-starting the original punk rock scene, The Damned have never been afraid to push themselves musically and throughout their time together have cruised through whatever areas of progressive, psychedelic, goth and pop rock that take their fancy.
After the success of 2011’s enthralling 35th anniversary shows and last year’s Loco A Go Go, the band are still pushing boundaries onstage and delighting fans the world over. This year they’ll be joined in an exclusive London date by very special guests Theatre Of Hate.
THEATRE OF HATE are thrilled to announce they will be making an exclusive London appearance at the Roundhouse as very special guests of their old friends The Damned.
Kirk Brandon is also happy to say that both John ‘Boy’ Lennard and Stan Stammers will be flying in for a short run of run of UK shows in December 2013, one of which is this show, which promises to be a must see event.
