Our Naked Truths

Our Naked Truths invites all those who female identifying and non-binary people to connect and celebrate the universal beauty through art and conversation. It is a safe and inclusive space for female identifying and non-binary persons to create, connect and celebrate universal beauty. Through our life art therapy, we encourage our community to explore themes of self-acceptance through artistic expression, meditation and conversation.

What will I get from taking part?
• Feel represented in spaces you may not have accessed before
• Introduction to new artists and ideas
• Meet and network with like-minded individuals
• An opportunity to celebrate Blackness and queerness
• A safe environment to create, connect and celebrate womxn
• Explore themes of self-acceptance through artistic expression and conversation.

Who will be teaching the project?
Our Naked Truths will be leading this workshop. AFRO-CITY FESTIVAL is curated by Tobi Kyeremateng and will include workshops and discussions with artists, speakers, writers, poets, musicians and more.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
This workshop is open to those who are female identifying and non-binary. No experience necessary.

Is there anything I need to bring or wear?
No, all materials will be provided
