These informal sessions will give you the opportunity to make a range of radio shows and try out the roles of presenter and producer.

What will I get from taking part?
• Have used digital recorders to capture sound
• Learnt how to use a radio studio desk
• Have worked as a team to make speech and music radio
• Learnt the basics of editing audio using Adobe Audition
• Learnt how to build a career in the broadcast industry and pitch for Transmission Roundhouse

Industry professionals working in the radio & audio industry

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
No – this project is for beginners to radio!

Is there anything I need to bring or wear?
Something to take notes on, otherwise all other equipment will be provided.

Are bursaries available?
Yes – if you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare find out how you can get support.

If you are using a bursary to pay for the project, please ensure you arrange this with the Advice Base with plenty of time before the start of the project.
