What is the project about?
A 4 week fast track course in Live TV Broadcast giving 18-25 year olds who aren’t employed, in training or education the skills they need to progress in the industry.
The Roundhouse is one of the few venues in the UK with an in-house broadcast facility bringing its exciting live arts and music programme to screens across the world, crewed by diverse young people graduating from its renowned Bloomberg intensive training programme.
Across the 4 weeks you will be given training and hands on experience in video production, camera operating and live broadcast, through intensive workshops, guest masterclasses and working on productions at the Roundhouse. You will learn about how a live show is brought to the screen and the production and technical job roles involved. We’ll wrap up the programme by showing you the next steps for starting a career in live TV and streaming.

An experienced Filmmaker and tutor supported by a member of staff from the Roundhouse Digital Productions Team.
