What is the project about?
This weekend intensive will introduce you to our Future Producers Programme, for existing and aspiring producers, starting in January 2020. Through a series of Producer Toolkit workshops, panel discussions, debates and presentations from leading producers, you’ll learn all about the role of a producer, and begin to define your own vision as a creative producer.
This is a great opportunity for us to meet you in person, hear about your ambitions and for you to ask any questions ahead of applying to take part in the full Producers Programme starting January 2020.
Future Producers Programme 2020
A new programme for existing and aspiring producers looking to take their practice to the next level. Over 8 months, you will have the opportunity to work on Roundhouse Festivals and Productions, such The Last Word and Street Circus events, to scale up your practice and give you the confidence and experience to go into your chose field whether that be Circus, Theatre or Spoken Word. Applications to open in Autumn 2019.
What will I get from taking part?
• An introduction to the new Future Producers Programme
• Workshops on the basic skills of producing – Budgets & Finances, Marketing & Comms, Audience Development, Accessibility, Fundraising
• Explore the broad range and definitions of producers
• An opportunity to watch a show
• Network with other artists and producers
• A platform to question and challenge the issues within the sector
• Define what your aims might be as a producer and what work you would want to produce
Who will be teaching the project?
Leading circus and theatre producers.
Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
The Future Producers Programme will be aimed at Artists or Producers already working in the industry on a small scale looking to scale up their practice or transition into producing. The intensive weekend is open to all those who are interested in applying for this programme or finding out more.

How do I pay for this project?
You can pay by visiting us in person or by calling us on 0300 6789 222 (option 4). We are open Tue – Fri 9.30am – 9pm and Sat – Mon 9.30am – 5pm. For further details see How to Enrol.
