Join us in the Studio Theatre as we host a Zine making workshop with Mia Maxwell, founder of FEM ZINE London.

Celebrate yourself and your community by making your own DIY magazines inspired by the movement of zine making in London. Use collage, drawing, and writing techniques to create your own zine to take home. This event is great for anyone with something to say.

Mia has made zines for the Mayor of London and UGG, and run zine events and workshops for Adidas, Nandos, the Science Museum, and the Tate.

About Fem Zine

FEM started as an annual submission-based zine in 2017, welcoming work from under-represented and largely unpublished artists. After publishing their first book by the poetry collective 4 Brown Girls Who Write in 2018, they started hosting events in the same year, featuring performers of all disciplines. Since then, FEM have focused on special-topic zines, still championing new voices, but also working with established queer creatives and their own network that has been with them from the start.

This event is part of the Roundhouse Beyond + Between summer season, a curated programme that celebrates and amplifies some of the most important artists and voices driving culture and conversation today.
